Dr. Jon graduated from MSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. His favorite areas of his job include interacting with owners and performing soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Jon is married to Clara, and they have two children – Hailey and Carter. In his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking, woodworking and spending time with his family. His family has multiple pets including a Beagle-mix named Chloe, a Golden Retriever named Stan, a Lab named Josie and more cats then he wants to claim, chickens and fresh along with saltwater aquariums filled with numerous fish. Dr. Jon’s role in the office is as owner and veterinarian, and is responsible for providing services to both large and small animals and occasionally reptiles.
Dr. Hannah Meihls graduated from Michigan State University in May of 2012 with her doctorate degree. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with the people, pets, and livestock. She has a special interest in caring for rabbits and other small mammals. Dr. Hannah and her husband Donnie have three sons. They also have a Golden Retriever, two cats named Sally & Thomas and some dairy beef steers. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys camping, spending time with friends and family, gardening, and volunteering with 4-H and FFA.
Dr. Torei Kulpinski is originally from Bronson Michigan, and joined the staff at Arenac Bay in May of 2021 after receiving her doctorate from Michigan State University. Growing up on her father’s dairy farm, cattle have always held a special place in her heart. Her interests in veterinary medicine however, extend to a multitude of other species including, pigs, dogs, and cats. She is dedicated to connecting with clients by providing the best-possible compassionate and informed care for her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their own pets — a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix named Nora and their two cats, Jack & Theo.
Dr. Taylor Sperow is originally from West Branch, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with her doctorate degree in 2024. Dr. Taylor was raised on a dairy farm, previously owned a small sheep flock, and was involved with 4-H and FFA. She enjoys working with animals of all sizes, especially small ruminants. She is dedicated to client education, providing compassionate care, and looks forward to being a life-long learner in the ever-evolving field of veterinary medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, camping, kayaking, biking and spending time with her husband, Tom and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Theo.
DIANE BLEHM,
OFFICE MANAGERDiane has been working for Arenac Bay Vet Services since 2006. Her favorite part about the job is helping clients and meeting new people. Diane has raised wildlife for the past 30 years including whitetail deer, fox, pheasants and many others. Currently, Diane indoor pets include, Jack Russell named Hank and French Bulldog named Rocky. In her spare time, Diane enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family. She is married to her husband, Mark, and has three children and nine grandchildren, with three sets of twins.
BECKY COOK,
RECEPTIONISTBecky has been working for Arenac Bay Vet Services since 1999. She has been married to her husband, Steve, for 22 years. They enjoy having cookouts, going for side-by-side rides and being with friends and family. Becky’s favorite part about the job is working with the clients and being up front with everyone at the clinic. She has three Great Danes, Sully, Kodi and Jade.
TINA HARTWICK,
RECEPTIONISTTina joined the Arenac Bay Veterinary Services team in July of 2015, after being a client for many years. She has a love for all animals and enjoys getting to know the clients and patients of ABVS. Tina shares her home with her husband, Jeremy, 3 Bernese Mountain Dogs, Tonka, Destiny, and Buster a Berner/GSP mixed named Heart, a Mountain Cur named Izzy, a German Shorthair Pointer named Cody and a Deutsch Drahthaar named Ash. Along with her dogs she also has 5 horses. In her free time, Tina enjoys being outdoors, riding her horses, playing with her dogs, fishing, gardening and giving riding lessons to kids. She also, enjoys doing volunteer work at schools, hospitals, assisted living facilities and libraries with her dog, Tonka who is a Certified therapy Dog thru TDI.
SABRINA OSIER,
VETERINARY ASSISTANTSabrina has been working for Arenac Bay Vet Services since 2006. Her favorite part about the job is seeing sick or hurt animals come in and walk out the door healthy and healed. She also enjoys interaction with the clients. When not working, Sabrina enjoys reading, camping and watching movies. Sabrina and her husband, Ben, have a daughter, Phoebe and son, Tobias.
JESSICA GOODMAN,
VETERINARY ASSISTANTMay, 2011. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with patients. Jessica has two cats named Halona and Rory, two dogs named Ayble, and Eclipse, and a horse. Eclipse came to Arenac Bay Vet Services as a stray that had been hit by a car. Jessica spent many weeks nursing her back to health while her broken leg healed, and eventually adopted her. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys going to speed shows, camping, playing softball, and spending time with her daughter, Sophia.
WHITNEY KOBEL, VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Whitney has been a part of the Arenac Bay Veterinary Services team since 2019. When she’s not fulfilling her duties as a veterinary assistant and providing care for our clients, she may be doing the same for her own group of fur-babies at home. Whitney and her wife, Amanda, are the proud owners of 3 dogs, Rylee, Charlee and Gertie and 2 cats, Snug and Wilson. When she is not loving on animals, she enjoys playing golf and finding new breweries where she can have a nice drink and spend time with friends.
KARA CAULFIELD,
VETERINARY ASSISTANTKara has been working for Arenac Bay Veterinary Services since June of 2016. Kara has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Saginaw Valley State University. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with patients. In her spare time, Kara enjoys reading, being outside, and playing with her golden retriever, Ryder as well as her two cats, Skully and Franklin.
BRITTTANY ROBINSON,
LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIANBrittany is a 2014 graduate from the Baker College of Flint Veterinary Technician Program. She has spent most of her career here at ABVS. Brittany has a special interest in ultrasonography and surgical care. Brittany and her husband Jon have two kids, Theo and Lillie. They share their home with their dog Sven and three cats - Tulio, Harry and Lloyd. In her spare time Brittany enjoys doing diy projects, reading, and being outside.
CARLEY HELM,
VETERINARY ASSISTANTCarley started working at ABVS in February 2021. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband Shawn and their 2 kids Rosemary and Monroe. Carley also enjoys going to mudbogs, camping and photography. She has a fox red lab named Beau and a cat named Bella.
ANN MEIHLS, VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Anne has been working at ABVS since 2020. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with the patients. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family & friend's.
ELLE LUTZ, VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Elle joined the ABVS team in 2023, she loves taking care of patients during their time of need. Outside of work, Elle enjoys trail riding, reading, and spending time with her cats and dogs.
ANN GOODROE, KENNEL TECH
Ann has been at Arenac Bay Veterinary services since June 2021. She is currently a student at Saginaw Valley State University studying molecular cell biology and hopes to attend vet school in the future. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her cat Frank, her cow Georgina, and caring for her aquatic pets.
